Chocolate Strawberry Trifle

_ c. of Emily G’s Strawberry Jam 1 c. whipped cream
8 graham crackers _ c. chocolate chips
1lb fresh strawberries sliced 2 c. Ricotta cheese
_ c. butter

In a mixer grind graham crackers and a 1T of butter until a dough texture is formed.  In a pan heat the  chocolate chips and remaining butter until melted.  Mix the melted chocolate chip and ricotta cheese together in a bowl.   Heat jam in the microwave for about 10 seconds.

Begin by layering half the ricotta cheese mixture in a glass trifle bowl (You could also do individual desserts in martini glasses for fun).  Next add half the graham cracker mixture and then a layer half of the strawberry slices. Drizzle half of the jam.  Repeat.  Finally, top the with whipped cream.  Refrigerate at least an hour before serving.
